Going into Week Four of my Fantasy Football League, my first in over ten years, I am next to last with 3 losses, no wins. In fact, I would be lying if I said these were close games, but no. Total and utter blowouts. And I can't even blame my choice of players each week.
Okay, to be fair, I don't have the best lineup. Starting Quarterback is Kurt Warner, supermarket bagger to Super Bowl MVP to reconsidering Food Lion as a career again. He's trying to show Eli Manning how it's done, and...well, I guess I'll be resting him the next few weeks to use my backup, the wonderful Texan David Carr. And my WR combos? Jerry Rice and Larry Fitzgerald are the ONLY named ones, and they're off to slow starts.
Running backs are good though. Eggerin James AKA "Mophead" and Clinton Portis aren't disappointing, though I have had the nasty distinction of having my third Running back having big days (ie Quentin Griffin Week 1) Problem was solved by getting a Detroit Running Back.
Hrm...changes changes. Might have to put Kicker Vanderjagt on the trade block...see if I can get decent WRs for a change. Mine ain't doing well at the moment. And the team looked so GOOD when I played them in Madden 2005... stare
