And now for something completely different...
...or as different as a damned blog can be, anyway. It started out as a project, it devolved into a chronicling of my misanthropy, rage, and occasional fits of glee. It sounds good, though, and might even make you laugh.

I hate bots.

I mean, I really do hate bots. I don't see the point, since we bust them sooner or later, especially the giant bot armies. It just bothers me to see a bunch of nonsense names under identical avatars filling up the recently joined bar on the community page. The point of that function is to see who joined and send them messages and welcome them into the community, but instead I see it full of machine-made accounts that are going to do something bad. That's depressing. That shows accounts made not for the fun of pixel dolls or flash games or a community, but accounts made to cheat the system and ultimately screw other users. That's not really what I want to see on Gaia. Ever. I suppose I should stop expecting people on this site to do something good, or at least stop doing things that are bad, but I can't seem to help it. sad

Look at it this way. With this feature, it'd be easier to spot them.

There's no point, yet people still think they can get away. confused It's been like that since forever, just about.

Yeah, and I love the feature for that. I just hate having to see all these crap accounts generate without being able to do anything, even though I know they're for the express purpose of screwing people over. wahmbulance
