Since it's teh spooky month, I thought I'd do a scary journal post. Wooooo~ *ghosty noises*. Here are some places that I know for a fact, are ALWAYS haunted.
No. 1) Funeral homes
No. 2) Cemeteries
No. 3) Hospitals
No. 4) Jails/correctional facilities
No. 5) Anywhere something dark, tragic or awful has happened or someone/people have died.
And for some reason, schools. And very often, nursing homes as well.
Moving into a home that was a former funeral parlour is a guarantee your house is gonna be severely haunted.
And here are two of my favourite YouTube supernatural ghosty channels.
1. Nuke's Top 5
2. Slapped Ham
Always love it when a new Nuke's video drops. It's always a surprise. I hope he puts one out this month in particular~
There are a lot of scary movies I want to watch during this month as well! My favourites are paranormal stories, nothing gory or violent. For instance, I don't think I can handle watching the SAW movies at all. But I love aliens and ghostly tales.
I have a funny little story about a funeral home from my childhood.
One time, my mum was driving us past the zebra crossing outside the local funeral parlour, heading further into the city. She had driven past that spot dozens of times with us kids in the car. But that day, despite there not being any signs of mist visible with the naked eye, every window on the car fogged up instantaneously, like a mist bomb had gone off on it. I remember my mum and us joking that 'I think I just drove through someone'. And I am inclined to agree that's what happened. A spirit moving across the crossing and we ran them right over. Just bam - straight through! The fog completely covered every window in white but it didn't last long and they cleared again within seconds. It never happened before and never happened since. To this day, I like to think that we really did drive through someone.
Happy October, friends!
