I posted in cb about my day but ******** golly it was a weird day
i am high
and tired
things are....things
you know?
Every day I grow more and more disappointed in our government, leadership is trash.
Growing up my parents never talked about politics much, I didn't know who my Dad voted for because it was never a huge topic. My Mom just didn't involve herself. I don't recall them talking about Presidents much either except for the collective understanding of how stupid Bush was/is
These major conversations really came up from school prompts, like when we learned about water conservation. California's been in a drought since the dawn of man it seems, we were told in the 5th grade (i think) about it and sent home with a little at home kit.
Growing up I paid no mind to it, I was 12 when Obama was sworn into office. I remember watching that in class. My young minded understanding was the whole awesome moment for us to have a Black President. Great job America! Then it dawned on me that our bar was so low that he was the first? How long has America been founded for?
High school I was ignorant to a lot. My Mom paid more attention to her new Bf than me, my Dad had stalked us after they separated so that ruined my relationship with him for awhile. My Grandma wasn't too political as much as, but she well understood of the evils in the world so that was an eye-opener for me.
All I knew growing up was that the President made the rules, and different areas of the Government oversaw xyz.
Everything ******** sucks, I can't believe everything that's happening nor the "justification" for any of it either
