あるある探検隊 - Aruarutankentai - an expedition team

I had this video, あるある探検隊 A certain expedition!, in my Watch Later for years. It's a parody of, ir maybe homage to, a Japanese comedy duo's dance routine that became popular on the Japanese speaking internet. I wanted to figure out the context, so this journal entry will include as much of that info as possible. I didn't know anything about this video prior to today. The parody video started being recommended to a lot of people in the last year, so the original uploader made this video to give context and answer questions. It's in Japanese, so I'm going to read through the comments and use translate to hopefully gain some understanding of the content.
