oh boy. my first journal entry. and just in time! my gaia account is 6675 days old—a completely random and definitely not slightly demonic number. am I mad I didn’t journal on day 6666? no, of course not. totally chill about it. very normal reaction. moving on.

i’m not entirely sure where this journal will go, but i want to let it become whatever it wants to be. irl, i’m on day 118 of handwriting a daily journal, so why not share little snippets here too? i’m working on feeling more comfortable sharing online and taking up space. i tend to hold a lot in, afraid of stepping on others or being "too much." but i’m learning that i’m just as worthy of space as anyone else.

so, that said, i want to start with my daily tarot reflections. i usually pull two cards:
– one from the top (the surface)
– one from the bottom (the unseen)

i use this as a framing device to process my day, and sometimes it helps me see what I’ve been avoiding.

today’s cards: eight of wands (surface) + the world reversed (unseen)

The eight of wands brings that fast, kinetic energy—movement, growth, ideas flying. And that’s exactly what I felt today. I spent the entire day rebuilding my workspace at my parents’ house (I moved back in February :c). I decluttered my old bedroom, planned how I want to use the space, and reassembled a lot of furniture. I even built my heavy-a** motorized desk, which was a *lot* for someone with noodle arms. While working, I listened to music and daydreamed about future art. So yeah—very eight-of-wands.

As for the world reversed… oof. That one hit in a weird delayed way. At first I didn’t think it fit. But then I realized something hilarious and cursed—my tarot deck depicts Gaia as the World card. Gaia… as in Gaia Online. And here I was, putting off writing my first journal.

Also??? I just found out about PLAT BANS. Apparently Gaia limits platinum drops if you post too repetitively or spam certain forums. I had no idea. I thought the recent plat drought was from maintenance. But nope! My world was literally reversed. Gaia was mad at me.

So this is my offering. I’m sorry for spamming, Gaia. I was just vibing. I didn’t know. Please accept this first journal as an apology and a commitment to vibing *better*. There’s more to come. heart
