Ehh. The last day of the con wasn't all that interesting for me. Guess I was just having some bad luck this time around; all the stuff I wanted to go to was all at the same time, and none of the anime titles caught my eye. So!
I dropped my brother off at the Gundam model-building contest, and scooted off to chat with David Stanworth some more. Some moron at the Photoshop panel asked for an overview of every single tool, and that took up the WHOLE TIME. Grr. However, we did get to see how the guy does shadows on Snafu, and a very quick demonstration of cell chading. I also learned a couple of shortcuts of which I was previously unaware, so at least the panel wasn't a complete waste of time...
After the panel, I called Dragoil and learned that she'd left, so I wandered through Artist's Alley for a bit and grabbed some free Snafu pins. PowerPuff Girls Doujinshi ftw. XD
I also wandered past the fashion show and watched for a few minutes, then went to Dealer's. I found... one disc of Wolf's Rain. xp
So! No shiny DVD for me. I wound up buying some FMA manga and the GetBackers OSTs before I found where all the other stuff was. The kimono people from last year were there again! I found a really nice silk kimono, and because I was about out of cash, I went in search of an ATM and some friends to act as my conscience on whether I should buy it. On one hand, I WANTED IT. On the other... if my mom found out, I'd be le dead. >.>;;
I also went to see if the Gundam thing was over. It was almost finished when I got there, so I waited for my brother before taking him to the Snafu table in the Alley. He was addressed as "Jason not Hudson". I think that was more amusing than the autographs from yesterday. xd
Went back to Dealer's with the brother, and got some cash out of the ATM... I wound up buying the kimono anyway. xd
About then, everything that was going on was almost over... Dealer's was closing, the fashion show was almost done, and so on... The only thing left was some anime I didn't feel like checking out, and the Charity auction... Since my brother was getting tired of the con, we wound up going home.
The bus was also stupid. They didn't send the one that was scheduled to come about when we got to the stop, so we wound up complaining about the bus with a lady that was also waiting for the same one. Got home, dashed to my room to deposit shinies in there before mom asked what I'd gotten. WHEE. xd
So. Total expenses:
$35 for pre-registration
$40 for little brother's registration
$20 for guest reception
$20 for AE06 t-shirt
$30 for FMA volumes 5 and 6 (about)
$20 for FMA volumes 7 and 8
$25 for GetBackers OST 1 and 2
$140 total for kimono, obi, and cord
$15 (ish) for food
$0 for Scott McNiel's autograph on my DS heart
------------------------------------------
$345 spent at AE06. Bwar. xd
Well... Technically $305 because my brother owes me. whee
Now, I wonder if I've been accepted to the AE guild yet... *scoots to check*

Flight on Feathered Wings :: Pointless musings of The Nearly-Infallible Four-Eared Kimono Kitty
Flying on feathered wings with only two companions; they are my guardians. A gryphon flies to show the way; a dragon soars to wisdom. Thus I fly on my feathered wings, on a journey that has no destination...
Fly forth now to nowhere...

RAWR; I spent ALL DAY looking for you and Draggy...were you purposely avoiding me or something? My friend Rhia saw you at the Photoshop thing, but other then that no one I talked to had seen you. I waited at your friend's table (The other girl from the photo we took last year...her name started with a B....argh, I suck at names)
NO ONE has your phone number. Or Draggy's. Otherwise I would have called you guys. I kept trying to meet up....why can I never find someone when I look for them? Am I cursed or something?
Anyways, Editor was right. If you aren't online when someone sends you a PM, you never answer them back....bad Lyn -tsk tsk-
