It's been a long time since I've logged in...I hope everyone is doing well.
Last year my mom passed away. It's felt like half of my heart is gone. I'm doing alright considering. I have to take care of my little brother. It was my last promise I made to my mom. I just wish I had her here - as time goes on I find more and more things I want to talk about with her, memories I want to relive with her, and more than anything I just want to feel her presence again. Nothing about life is really the same. I was never ever ready to let her go. She went peacefully, on hospice. Or as peacefully as she could have. She was so sick in her final months. I did my best to take care of her. I will forever anticipate getting to Heaven so I can see her again.
