Hey everyone, I hope you all had a good Halloween!
I was supposed to be joining my best friend and brother in law getting married, but my mom has been in and out of the hospital lately so I decided to stay behind.
My mom is doing okay now, she came home yesterday and has mainly just been resting.
I've been through a whirlwind of emotions that I can't even really articulate, but I just wanted to check in.
This has been hands down the most difficult year of my life.
I started therapy and so far I've been to 2 sessions, I have another one next weekend and I feel like my therapist is going to think I haven't been making much progress because I haven't been making much time for myself like she suggested.
I hope 2024 brings more peace and I hope we have a good holiday season.
