I shook my head an sat up...where?
Where am I?

I look left an then right...upwards too..WTF!!!!!!!!
Nothing.

A white void in every direction even where there should be sky there is a white nothingness.

Light.. yes as if there is a Sun or light source similar but no visual source of illumination is there.

The ground.... No surface. Floor? It isnt dirt it isnt soil.
It feels like a linoleum plastic floor but with a little give. Rubbery in a fashion.

How did I get here???

I closed my eyes an breathed slowly as I tried to gather my thoughts.
I was walking home from the Bus Stop down the street from my apartment. As I walked nothing seemed out of the ordinary nor strange that I could recall.

I had walked to just past the last crosswalk before the road forks left an right at the T intersection which left leads to the apartment complex where I live an right goes several miles further into town.

I still dont remember anything odd or that strange either. It had started to rain lightly so I was walking briskly now an watching for traffic an for any others trying to get out of the rain as I went.

I walked past small puddles forming. Then I stepped through a puddle an then I was here in this empty place.

As I sat there still trying to figure out where I was a shadow shuffled passed me an continued walking on past.

Shocked at the sudden appearance of it I shout "What The Hell Are You?"

To my surprise it shouted back as it shuffled ever forward. "I must not stop, never"

The shadow was not very fast mind you but fast enough that even at its present speed it was already more than 20 feet or more away already an making way.

"Wait, Where Is This???" "Who, What Are You??" I got up an started to run after the shadow an found out the first quirk of the void. Running is useless, you feel as if your treading water or better yet walking through sand.

So I went from trying to run to a brisk walk as I had been when I got here. It worked but still I was being slowed by some weird resistance.

As I made way I managed to get closer an closer to the shadow. And as I got closer saw it was a human or human shaped at least. It was shuffling like before but he? His speed was causing there to be a blur around him as if the resistance from before was being affected by him movements..."Im catching up to you..Tell me where are we?"
