gtfo if you think Gary Jules did it first. His version is pretty but it's missing that ugliness that the Tears for Fears one had. IT'S AN UGLY SONG.
Sadly I hate Donnie Darko. It's one of the movies that had all the potential in the world to be brilliant and it turned out to be s**t just like every movie with Jack Nasty. I love Jake, I really do even if he's a strange dude (even more than Mr. Bellamy) but man...I hate all of his movies. If he is in it I am destined to hate it with a passion.
But Tears for Fears is brilliant. Everyone needs to learn the brillance of them. For such popish songs the lyrics they have are deeper than anything you'll hear on the radio right now. They were a band before their time I say. I love them very much.
