It's hard to argue with a teenager or for that matter anyone from 9 on up because they think they are right about everything.
You cannot blame them for this because it is an act of God. Part of the development of the brain really. At this age until you are in your twenties you believe you are a God so to speak.
Which is why I laugh at every little 10 year old and anyone who backs up this argument that those who are under the age of 13 should be on Gaia if they are 'mature' enough. NO ONE AT THE AGE OF 10 IS MATURE. It does not matter if you can handle porn, cussing, graphic discussions ect ect ect
That is -not- what maturity is about.
There are things that come with age that a 10 year old cannot know. Let me share with you the wisdom of a 21 year old. I WISH I WAS 10. Do you know how sweet that would be? To not have to worry about anything? That is what a 10 year old should be doing. They should be playing with barbies and GI Joes and watching cartoons.
They should not be on Gaia talking about a political system in which their brain cannot truely grasp because they lack the ability to think critically about certain things.
No, seriously, you 10 year olds lack a higher level of thinking and certain complex thoughts are above you. That only comes around with age and growing up.
There is a reason Gaia asks you if you are under 13 and if you have the permission of your parents. It's mostly a legal one but also a moral one. Gaia wants 10 year olds to not have to worry about some of the things in the world that go on that you might encounter here. Gaia wants 10 year olds to just be 10 year olds. If a parent says it's cool then hey come on down.
Otherwise you really shouldn't be here. You should be being a kid, not acting like you think you know everything. By all of the posts around that proclaim older users do not respect younger ones that just proves the immaturity of the younger ones.
Frankly I don't really care how old you are but you know I don't really have anything in common with a 10 year old. I don't have anything in common with a 13 year old for that matter. Just because I don't want to talk to you doesn't mean I hate you and I don't think you do not belong on Gaia.

i am sort of halfway - exceited and getting ready to step out into the world on my own and deal with life as an adult, and also thinking that it would be great if i was 10 again. sweatdrop
just because a child thinks they can handle the things that are portrayed as mature - adult movies / jokes / problems, they think they have a right to be treated as an adult.
i personally dont put anyone down on gaia - no not even noobs. because i am a softie lol.
but it does annoy me when i see a kid trying to stick up for himself and prove his maturity on Gaia to teenagers who really couldnt care less.
really, go watch rugrats and enjoy being unable to vote and watch porn, enjoy the innocence xd
