Friend or Foe?
Sakura's Room
It was two hours after the spar between Sakura and King Ferid. Sakura lay on her bed holding a book titled 'Cursed Runes', she shifted to her left side and looked out her tinny circle window on the wall. Sighing she go up and looked at an old picture of her when she was six years old. Glen was also in the picture, younger bu still Glen. Sakura remember what Katerina said about how she came about to Razil. Katerina told her that when she was a baby, Glen found her on a piece of drift wood with a single blanket to keep her warm. It has been ten years since then but she still wished to remember what her real family was like, if she had one. She remember that she used to joke around with her friends telling them what she thought her real parents were like. "I bet their a king and queen of a distance land. And I'm the princess!" Sakura chuckled when remembered what she said.
A knock on the door awoke her from her daydreaming. "Sakura it's time." It was Kennth, Sakura arose from her bed and opened the door. Kennth was in shock, Sakura was dressed in a light blue dress that was short sleeved with a white rose on her left side. "Um. This is Sakura's room right?*chuckle*" Kennth said as he put his hand over his mouth, Sakura playfully hit him on the shoulder, and mummbled a shut up. Kennth walked Sakura up to the doors of the Vingerhutt masion, a light with candles and filled with famous nobles of Gaian.
"Sakura!" It was Snowe, he was dressed with a red jacket and pants, "I'll leave you two..." with that said Kennth slipped away. Sakura carefully walked down the stairs to Snowe's hand, "Why am I here again?" she asked as she grabbed his hand. Snowe sighed, "Ferid invited you to this and if it wasn't for him you wouldn't be here." Sakura began to wish she never won the spar, it never said anything about her wearing a dress! Snowe then lead her to a table were the knights from the docks all stood. Snowe then pushed her with him to talk to them, "Alright Sakura, these are the Knights of Falena, Kyle, Galleon, Zannak, Alena, and you know Georg." Sakura shook hands with all of the knights, but had to pry her hand out of Kyle's. Lord Vingerhutt then called in everyone to sit at the tables to eat. Sakura sat next to King Ferid and Georg, "Sakura you have a very different tactic in fighting with spars, who taught you?" Georg asked his question. Sakura put down her wine glass that was filled with water, "Commader Glen taught me the basics, same with Katerina, and the rest I learned on my own." The knight's must have heard her say that and turned to look at her. Sakura didn't wish to be here any longer. After the meals were served she ran to Kennth to take her back to her room. "Hold on, you owe me a dance." Kyle then took her hand and dance with her. Sakura kept trying to get away from Kyle, "Kyle I'd stay away from Sakura, if you want to get on Snowe's bad side." Kyle then bolted to talk to other girls, "Thank you. I'm sorry but could you tell Ferid, Snowe, and Lord Vingerhutt that I had to go?" Georg nodded and let Sakura go to Kennth.
Snowe watched from a balcony as Sakura left with Kennth to go back to the Hall of Knights. "Wish it could be you Snowe?" Joesph came up near him with a glass of wine. Snowe clasp the wine glass, gulped it down in one fail swing, and placed it back on the tray. "You know more than anyone how important she is to me..."

Early that morning, Sakura woke up from bed and got dressed to say goodbye to Ferid and all of the Knights of Falena. She dressed in her normal uniform and bolted out to the docks. Luckly, Ferid was just getting to the docks himself. Sakura managed to squrim into the flock of people that were saying goodbye and went right next to Katerina, "Your late." was all Katerina had time to say. Sakura gave her an evil eye look and smiled back at Ferid.
Ferid then came up and shook her hand, "I am jealous of you Glen. Such a fine knight you have here. Any chances she will come to Falena?" Ferid then shook Katerina and Glen's hands, "Don't get your hopes up you old sword swinger." Glen and Ferid had a good laugh. Alena then came up to Sakura, "Truthfully, I'm impressed. Sakura you have my trust as a true knight." she then shook Sakura's hand, Sakura smiled and shook back. Georg then came up to Sakura and whispered something in her ear that made her face turn white. Georg patted her on the shoulder, "Be brave." was all he said.
Everyone watched as the ship sailed away until it was out of sight. Sakura however, stayed behind, sitting at the edge of the dock. Her mind replaying the message that Georg told her, "Lord Vingerhutt wants you dead.". It couldn't be, she thought, Lord Vingerhutt would never say that about anyone. But why me? What did I do? Did I...no I didn't, but then why? Sakura rattled her brain with a range of questions, she didn't notice Snowe was standing right behind her.
"Sakura?" Snowe's voice shocked her right to jumping up in fear. "Oh hi-Ah!" Sakura tripped on a broken piece of wood on the dock and fell into the water. Sakura opened her eyes that stung in the cold dark sea water. She tried to swim up but her armor was pulling her down. Sakura heard another splash and felt an arm go around her waist pulling her up. This person brought her up to the surface and pulled her on to the dock. Coughing and wheezing, Sakura looked at her savor, Snowe. Snowe coughed up sea water and checked Sakura by placing a hand on her forehead. "Are you ok? Are you mentally stupid! Sitting by a dock fully armored!?" Sakura stared wide eye at Snowe, he was merely inches away from their noses touching. She coughed alittle making Snowe realize how close he was, "I mean...um...heh..." Snowe then stood up and reached a hand down to Sakura, but he wasn't facing her. "...Come on. The quicker you get inside the better." Sakura could tell that Snowe was blushing, the tip of his ears were turning red. She smiled at his silliness, took his hand, and got up. Snowe then started to walk her back to her room, once there Sakura tried to go in and realized she was still holding hands with Snowe. "Um Snowe?" she said while wiggling her hand, Snowe then became more embarassed and let go.
Sakura nodded a mere good night and shut the door. Once hearing his footsteps no more she slid down on the door until she sat on the ground. Her face was fully a blaze with a shade of red. She then came to a conculsion, 'Lord Vingerhutt wants me dead because.......Snowe is falling in love with me?'
