One of my old bosses opened up his own restraunt today. It's called Kimmi's Asian Bistro. I used to work for him when he managed a Shogun near my house, and my family came in pretty often, so he liked us.

So I decided to pay him a visit for lunch on their first day. One of the chef's came with him, they're actually in it together, which is cool. The food was really delicious. I had salmon. I swear it was an explosion of flavor, I have never had such good salmon in all my life. My brother and I got really good food, plus a free desert. And both my old boss and his partner offered me a position there at the end of the meal, which I took them up on. I'll be working there when I'm not working at the TKD school. Hopefully I get more hours than I did at Shogun, so I can get more money. More money means I can get all my old CDs back quicker, which means I can move on to newer and cooler things quicker.

I figure I'll dump just about all the money I get during my service into savings, so I can afford to blow a couple hundred now.

Oh, and my ship date got moved to Sept. 11, four days before I turn 19. This also means I will be getting back around Christmas time.

So good news all around. smile
