I am officially enlisted in the Marine Corps. I swore in today around 11:30 and signed my contract( 8 years, 4 active duty, 4 inactive). My ship date for boot camp is August 28, so roughly two months before I leave.
My cousin left for the Naval Academy today and we both plan on becoming officers in our respective services.
If anyone would like me to write them while I am away at boot camp, just leave me your contact information. Preferably in PM, that way you know it's just between you and I.
