"Um... It's my new sword, will, kinda, I just got it but the sheath is broken, so I got to get it fixed. And It's not real snake skin... I don't think."
Day 4, June 13th Tuesday
Oy va. Up early again. 5:45 this time... We didn't bloody go to bed till midnight. Geez. Well we're off to Wales. Stonehenge Here we come.
Well, we hoped at least, and hoped prevailed! The thing was, when we reached Stonehenge and all... we had half an hour to look around, I took three pictures and turned around. I think I'm developing my grandfather's complex, one I see why stay longer?
Anyway, after the lovely Stonehenge we took a wonderous ride through the countryside to Wales, and oddly enough hit Pennsylvaina... seriously.
Saw the Cardiff Castle today, interesting... not really... We had a guided tour of the area, but were told not to take pictures of the area... five minutes after some of us-me included- took some lovely close-ups of the room we had been in. Anyway each room -of four- had an interesting story behind it. I personally enjoyed the childrean's room with fairy tails painted all over the room.
On the way out we were able to spot some peacocks. They all really had this loud squak, yet what we reallt wanted to see was a full plumish. Well Danielle S., aver some incuraging, squaked back, and the male responed with the plume. Really preaty.
We're staying at a Hampton today. John M. is absoulotly thrilled because it is his 17th birthday. But who wouldn't
I really need to call my parents, they must be worried.
"She squaked at it?"
"She was a prep. We never let her live it down. Trust me."
"And what, that was it?"
"You really like fairy tales don't you?"
"Yeah, always did. Repunsle was always my favorite. Could never get my hair as long though."
"Not your thing. Never really thought it was much of a type thing. Which version did you enjoy the most."
"The one where she get caught because she became 'with a child' and the which caued the prince to become blind."
"Really... I don't think that one was a very 'child friendly' story."
"Eh, in the 2+ it's the which catches the prince climbing up her hair. Less tragic."
"Repunsle, Repunsel, let down your-"
