Yule...A time when we celebrate the fact that the sun is going to coming back and we're going to get out of this dark season-Thank the gods. A time to appreciate the light and a time to rejoice the fact that the Oak King (god of the waxing year) has killed the Holly King (god of the waining year.) This is a solar festival which is where the yule log comes in!
