After i decided to REALLY investigate to find out which moboproc i should buy ... i've found out that Intel was now really behind AMD . Intel is now more preoccupied by the sheer clock speed than anything which ends up giving less performant CPU when AMD are running a 64bit CPU with lots of bandwidth. (So AMD is the "good" evil =-P)

This is what i like about hardware, you can skip months of being up-to-date and in 2-3hours you can find out everything that as been done in that time and what should happen in the next months. It's just so freakin simple.

Sooooooooo ... i've decided to delay the purchase of my new computer until that board is available Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe [Link] on which i'll use a AMD Athlon64 3500+ CPU.

I'm still trying to figure out which video card i should use ... the possibility of the SLI feature on my mobo is quite nice but in the end i've made up my mind ... i NEED a PCIe graphic card. I won't update the rest of the PC (CPU, MB, Memory) but the graphic card is the part that i'll probably change envetually. AGP will be long gone so PCIe is the answer ... and PCIe motherboards are running Athlon64 or Prescott ... and Prescott sucks really bad so .... that board with a AMD proc is the answer.
