Making love to my ego, because all the time, I'm just fine
The saccharine bliss of words almost makes up for the under lying poison they deliver to us all eventually. We all feel the comfort, and we'll all die from the poison. But at least we'll die with smiles on our faces and sweetnes on our lips.
Sadism
It is often seen as a disorder, many compare open sadists to mass murderers, serial killers, and various other criminals, this is not so. Sadism is the deriving of pleasure from inflicting pain or emotional abise on others. In this sense, almost all humans are sadists. All humans are latent sadists is a statement I've said many times and whole heartedly believe. Most of us feel a slight tingle or pang of enjoyment at the sight of someone who has affronted us hurt whether physically or emotionally. Many parents hurt thier children, not only as a method of punishment but to seek some inner satisfaction that the wrong thier child has done has been correctied through violence. There will always be more that enjoy the suffering of others or the percieved suffering more than those who do not. Programs such as boxing, American football((why couldnt you call this p***y sport soccer?)), Televised fighting in general alongwith murder, and horror media gain huge audiences because of the fact people enjoy suffering. Whether they realize it or not, many people may look away, but they look back to see the garrish results of the acts of others. Many humans would walk towards a car wreckage not to see who survived but to see the magnitude of the devastation. There is nothing wrong with enjoying the suffering of others, it's a natural process, the strong over the weak or those who percieve themselves to be at a more advantageous position. Many of us remain naieve or ignorant of this working within our bodies. The girl who is aroused while watching a rape in a movie, the man who watches a crash and finds himself salivating. Even more subtle signs like the inability to stop repeatedly observing stimuli you claim is repulsive. Some feel the need to dominate, some the need to be dominated. But they can still enjoy the pain and suffering that is experienced from both positions. Many of us live vicariously through our observations and sometimes obsessions. The difference is if you can accept what you are, deny what you are, or simply foolishly dont know.

((once I find the notebook I wrote asphyxia up in I'll post it))

This IS very interesting. I guess in the long run I can relate to a sadist...

We hide from ourselves the very things that we feel drawn to. To acknowledge a thing such as this is to bring to light something that we are brainwashed into thinking is not normal.

I don't think it's fool to say that you don't know. I think in some circles it is a very wise thing to say in order to survive where we live, and who we know.
