----It was raining as a large winged figure, veiled by the darkness, landed in the midst of a
muddy clearing. It's breath took the form of steam, deep and long breaths they were. It
folded down two large black blankets as it's head lifted towards the sky. It suddenly faded
into a fine mist and disapated to reveal a man standing.
----A small parting of the clouds allowed the moon's glow to wash across the ground. The
light revealed the figure, it was a man, about 5'11, adorned in black. He wore a scarf around
his neck, covering his mouth, that fluttered with the wind. On his back, stretching down
below his knees, was a black coat that moved with the currents as well. His hair was matted
against his face, and covered his ears.
----He looked back up to the sky, the blood from a cut on his face was washed away by the
rain. He shifted his feet in the mud and adjusted his grip on the glimmering sword in his
hand, it looked to be a cross between a katana and a schimtar. As soon as he raised his
sword up above him a man appeared out of a mist in midair and thrashed his own sword
against it. The second man landed a few feet away with a grin on his face, he too was
dressed in black or it seemed that way, since the moon's light had already been hidden by
the clouds.
"Well, well, Daniel, seems you've got better eyesight than I had anticipated." The attacker
said smugly.
"Hhm, thanks, but you did do a sloppy job with that attack." The first man, named Daniel,
replied with a grin.
"...you'll pay for that." The attacker said under his breath while adjusting his own grip
before charging at Daniel.
----The smirk faded as Daniel raised his blade and deflected the horizontal attack, then
spun around to keep his enemy in front of him. The attacker slid in the mud and lunged at
Daniel again, this time going vertical. Daniel brought his own sword down and stopped the
attack. He moved to make his own, but it was deflected as well. He tried again with a
horizontal attack but his foot slipped in the mud and opened his to be cut across his arm.
----He clenched his teeth and dove away from the attacker to avoid being hit again. His
breathing was getting heavier as the attacks continued, each blocking eachother almost
perfectly, until their swords locked. Daniel had attempted to slash from the ground up, but
his blade was halted by the other's. They both gripped their blades with both hands and
they forced them against eachother, Daniel's under his enemy's.
"You know, once I kill you, I'm going to find your mate, rape her, then when I'm done, I'm
going to kill your son in front of her, and then, I'm gonna kill her." The man said to Daniel
with a dark grin.
----Daniel's eyes narrowed and he clenched his teeth harder, the swords began to shake
violently, Daniel's slowly beginning to move upwards again. The enemy put all that he had
into holding back the sword to no avail. His sword was forced back so hard that it flung
back and almost broke his arm. Seconds after the man realized he was defencless, Daniel
forced his own sword into the man's chest. As Daniel forced the sword through the man's
sternum he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder and looked to see what it was. As he had
forced his own sword into the man's chest, the man had brought up his own and pushed it
into his shoulder.
----Daniel let go of his own sword and let the dying man fall onto the ground. He pulled out
the sword and tossed it to the side as the man faded into a mist and then the mist itself
disapeared. He tore off the sleeve and wrapped it around his shoulder as he dropped to his
knees, the rain slowly stopping as he sat for a moment, watching the water drip off his
sword's hilt. He fell forward into the mud and passed out.
