Hello all. As you can see, there is a journal entry here. As it may be vital later to understand what views I am coming from here, I shall give you a brief synopsis on who I am without giving away too much vital information:

My real life name is John, but as you may note it is not the name I choose to represent myself. The name Ryan Jakobi is taken from many years of Internet hangarounds that have included (but are not limited to)

Early related works in Spinnwebe.com with the Dysfunctional Family Circus, It's a Dysfunctional Life (Now known as A1-AAA), and the Spinnwebe Home Companion

Mystery Science Theater 3000 and the usenet derivative involving riffing on spam posts and dirty fanfictions (With affilations to the Weisenheimer group who works Mystery Octagon Theater and one of its spin-offs ImproFicRoast)

Anime and Science Fiction within reasonable limits (Two-time Balticon Young Writer's finalist, BucConEer Young Writer's Contest first place, Two-time Otakon LARP participant, lover of catgirls)

Roleplay within various limits be it IRC (Belariath, Furry Fight Farm) or messageboard (Starfox Academy, Shokushu, Downward Spiral)

a short stint with affiliated hooliganism with the folks at Portal of Evil (which is over, though I still think Nocturnal Walker is very funny)

and a cautious tapping with a stick when it comes to anthropomorphism or "furry".

THough I doubt you'd care for these things. Still, Ryan Jakobi is an amalgamation of an earlier Internet handle "RipperJak", after the Necromunda Monster of the same name and not after some guy in England who gutted whores, despite what Mother tells me. It later shortened to R. Jak, then turned into Ryan Jakobi. And there you are. If you have read any of the above and know at least ONE of the aspects of the net I am talking about, you are free to send a message and I'll give you something...or...whatever. If I've already met you, sorry, no gold. razz

But anyway, I'll probably be lazier when it comes to writing on things like these. Real life and working at a Pet Store full time and taking a few more credits to graduate with a bachelor's degree does take its toll, and give you an idea of my age (Silver Anniversary on 12/31).
