The sound of the siren
sent a chill through her spine.
For she knew that
someone must have
either died,
or their house was
sent aflame.
She would never laughed
or smile a bit
and her heart sank
`cause she knew someone
she had loved was in pain,
or dead,
or dying.
She knew everyone,
Therefore she loved everyone,
She had a big heart,
Till she left her room.
To find the siren was sent to her.
The kitchen was aflame,
and the one she knew that was dead
or dying,
was her family.
She sat and wept.
And heard voices she never heard before,
with words she never heard before.
Till the flames consumed her body.
Not her heart does nothing,
But makes worms happy,
Just like it used to make
everyone she met happy.
And her soul is still on earthen soil,
To watch,
to learn,
to feel.
To feel everything,
everything everyone else does.
