well, whilst pondering this mess, i came across an idea that i am rather fond of.
you see i realized, that while I may be miserable right now..
it is he who will be miserable later, when he realises how he pushed away someone who would have been loyal to him forever.
i'll get over it, because i didn't do anything wrong. i have no guilt.
but even if he doesn't feel it now... he does.
now if i can just get myself to believe that, i'll be all good.

And just from what descripton I got of him in your last entry, he definetly sounded like the type to play either a human pali or a nightelf rogue. I've never been able to talk to one due to WoW's horde not being able to converse with alliance but most of the time when I encounter either of those kinds of characters, they prance around with this higher than thou attidude and it gives me great pleasure to kill the crap out of them in the pvp zones... especially paladins with their aura's of immunity lameness! xd
You never know Vi, killing some alliance may become theraputic for you xd [/peerpressure to join WoW] xd
Just a warning though, if you friend does decide out of the blue to ask you to join to "play the game with you" Blizzard recently announced a recrute a friend thing where you get more free playtime the more friends you recrute... I wish they brought this out before I got DK, Cidius, and my best friend playing the game though stare xd But they may only be asking you to join for that reason... if they are that stingy xp sweatdrop
