intellectual differences.
Physics project coming up, kind of fun. I've decided the instrument I'm making, and the christmas song [hopefully].

Argument:Nowadays, when applying for secondary education, counsellors are bent of telling people "oh people may think so, but there really is no difference between college and University. Simply university is for theory based practices and college more hands-on type things." But everything about the two scream that, essentially "smarter" people go to university.
In order to go into university, you require much higher grades [MUCH higher grades], more demanding courseloads, jobs generating from these courses, bachelor's, honours, degrees tend to have higher paying jobs, etc. All this, from a student about to move into that world, makes college look like pretty much a dumb kids school for poor idiots.
It certainly doesn't make one feel great about going to college :
I must of course, go to college, since I am missing Discreet Maths and calculus credits, which are both requirements to get into any field I'm remotely interested in.

Thoughts?

hmmm... where do you live?

i live in the US and college is synonymous with university. Is the difference a number of years? We have technical schools that are 2 years for an associates degree. Then if you go to college/universities you are usually going to receive a bachelors degree. so are colleges wherever you are from like technical schools?
