xoxoSo sometimes it's the little things that make a character interesting. In an attempt to be as irresponsible with my time as possible, I've been thinking up some fun facts about Fredrik. Here they are in no particular order.
1. Fredrik is bisexual, and has dated both men and women, if just in his own little ******** up way. His most recent official girlfriend nearly killed herself when they were both teenagers, but thankfully did not succeed. His boyfriend, a few years later, as arrested and sent to prison for selling drugs.
2. He is always cold. This was not the case before Sandra beat the snot out of him, but ever since he joined the Shadow's cause, he's needed to wear something to keep him warm.
3. He stole his dad's wristwatch a few days before he died. An argument could be made that the old man knew his son would be sneaking into the house that night and deliberately left it out in an attempt to reach out, but Fredrik would not believe it for an instant.
4. He has one permanently dilated pupil. David Bowie is his face claim, and when he was (a teenager, I think?) he got in a fight with a friend over a girlfriend. His friend's fingernail sliced Bowie's eye and he had to have multiple surgeries before they got it back to working condition. Something similar happened to Fredrik, who did not heal it soon enough in the first place. Just like Bowie, he has some depth perception problems.
5. Despite drinking 'til he can't stand and smoking until his senses are dead, Rik has never once been tempted to try harder drugs. He tells himself he's ******** up enough as it is.
6. In another life, Fredrik would be a psychologist. He lacks empathy because of the way he grew up and would actually be naturally sympathetic if he didn't think the world owed him for a shitty childhood.
7. Part of the fun of getting tattoos, for him, is from being able to heal the skin around them so quickly. While others might take a few days to recover with each new tattoo, he heals in minutes. He hardly even feels the needle.
8. Fredrik has a fairly mixed taste in music, ranging from The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin to Daft Punk, Cage the Elephant, and Muse.
9. Where his sister has a fear of heights, he has a fear of drowning. There is no healing power fast enough to fix that.
