So I'm just now hearing about Gaia marriages. I think it's a pretty cute idea. I remember back in the day people would have "weddings" in Towns and I even went to a couple. So it's not really much different than that.
I also found out that I've been on Gaia since June 2006. I knew the year but didn't know the month. I do remember I was out of school though and bored and looking for something new to do. A friend on Neopets referred me to this site and I've been in love ever since. So much has changed on this site though and I've seen a lot of friends come and go. But it's all still been so fun. People have been nothing but nice to me for the most part. I'm pretty lucky. smile
I do miss meebo though. I really wish Gaia would set up a new instant messaging system because it'd be so much easier than keeping up with tons of PMs from friends.
It's crazy to think that I've been on here for almost 9 years though. Time flies when you're having fun I suppose smile
