Looking at my expression, Kinzoku began to laugh. "I can tell that you're misunderstanding what I mean. No matter; you'll learn in time."
I was completely confused by his comment, but it didn't matter, my dad was going to be there any second. As long as he got there, I wouldn't have to worry about anything that this guy was talking about, at least that's what I thought.
"Now Dragon," Kinzoku said grabbing for me, "I think we've spent enough time chating. It's time for us to leave."
"I don't think so," someone said in reply. It was my dad; he had finally come to save me. I had never been happier to see him. "Sekiri, stay behind me," Dad told me as he walked up to challange Kinzoku.
Kinzoku just laughed, and before Dad got a chance to react, Kinzoku got around him and came to me. The nest thing I knew, I was being taken away from the site. Kinzoku had me in his arms and was starting to fly away from the sceene, with his large, leathery wings, that I didn't notice before.
Crying out to my dad, I stretched out my hand in a last attempt to reach him. Dad was lucky enough to grasp it one last time before Kinzoku pulled us apart for good.
As Kinzoku flew me away from him, I never realized that this was the last time I'd ever see my father.

Red Dragon
This journal is an experiment of something that I want to write. It started out as a fanfic and I'm trying to see if I can make the idea into a book....
And I am allowing comments...but don't put anything like 'this sucks"
