I don't know how long the darkness seemed to lurk in my concious. My first assumption was that I was dead and out of this god foresaken world.
Then a sharp sting from the past jabbed me.
"Lose...and you become my pupil"
"Deal"
I don't know how many times I cursed myself for being foolish enough to agree to this. The inn woman was right. He was gonna scam me and I fell for it anyways. And all for a damn ticket.
My ears seemed to pick up the sounds of something.
Bells...loud bells ringing far away. They're sounds we're like a sad song.
Flashes of silver flickered before my shut eyes in the depths of my mind.
I kept on thinking what was going on.
The bells seemed to began to travel and come from different directions.
Then the chiming of little small ones softly rung in accompanyment.
Such a song I've never heard. I searched my head to call it something.
The word Song was used too much...then another word appeared in my head. Carol....
Carol of the bells...
