SJ's Inferno, Paradiso, and Everything in Between
My life, which is focused on school, anime, music, etc. I'll update it when I feel the need or the knack.
IT'S the weekend!! Hurrah!
Well, the week is finally over. Just a couple more weeks til Christmas...

I had a test in AP US History today. It went rather smoothly, all things considered. Poor, poor Amy Porter though; she studied really very hard for the possible essay questions Mr. Stan showed us, and then he springs a completely new one on us for the test. I feel sorry for her. I'm hoping for a 7 or 8 at least on the essay (on a scale of 1-9, 6+ being an A) because I knew what I was talking about, and communicated myself articulately enough, with names and dates and examples and connections back to the thesis and everything.

Oh, and I got a 99 on the health test! biggrin Not that I need it, but its always nice to get a perfect (or near perfect) score. Now to experience the joy of learning all about STD's, in stunning graphic detail rolleyes

I still have received an e-mail or a phone call back from the my MIT educational counselor, which is concerning because I need to get into contact with him, so that i can schedule an admissions interview. The web-site says that the interview is optional, but I just -know- that it'll kill my application if I don't get one.

I need to get started on the application for Carnegie Mellon. I already have a foot in the door, since I participated in their APEA program last summer, but I could still make as rigorous an effort as possible. They are a pretty selective school, and certainly the best in the nation for Computer Science. Dunno what their Computer Graphics program is like, though. Probably should check that out...

I'm currently reading three books, and I'm just waiting til I find my card to start reading another. The current titles are 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (Jules Verne), The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (Mark Twain) and The Machine Crusade (Brian Herbet) The one that really intrigues me the most is the Machine Crusade; I'm reading Huck Finn for school and 20,000 Leagues because I don't own the Machine Crusade, and need something recreational to read when I'm not in Hastings. I probably spend 6-7 hours a week at least in Hastings, just reading books. Its much cheaper than buying them, and if I'm not doing homework, its as good a place to be as any.

Song of the Moment - Onna No Ko Otoko No Ko, by Yuko Ogura. Its the ending for School Rumble, with a nice simple vocal. The lyrics are so true~! Not really the best song in terms of actual melody or anything, but its catchy, and is the song that is currently stuck in my head. heart
