So, I've resolved to become an elf. Or, be an elf. I feel like I should be anyway.
Why? Because it's much better than the alternative: being human. That doesn't mean that I'll "lose my humanity" or whatever. Elves are just like humans but...better.
Why have I decided this? Well, this hasn't been a concept that has been far from my mind at all, I've always adored elves. But there have been many times that completely idiotic decisions or drama have over-ruled friendships or such. The scale of the reasoning and thinking that one thing is harmless when in all reality (and thought about logically) it is not, ruins so many friendships. Shortsightedness. I will admit, I have been a victim of that.
Another thing that destroys something worked hard for is miscommunication. Again, I've been a victim of it. Often times I'll substitute one word for another, a very bad habit of mine that I've been working on. If only people were more honest and could wear their hearts on their sleeves.But alas, the evils of the world don't really allow that.
