He is what the members of Hell like to call the "Baroque Demon" In short, this term can be best described as the kind of demon that continues to make contracts with mortals and speaks in riddles and rhymes that many find amusing. He's a friendly demon due to the fact that he is powerless until a contract has been created with a mortal.
You know the demon is serious when he begins to speak in complete and rational sentences. He always speaks in rhymes, so one will be able to tell when his word flow begins to stop. This is usually a rarity when a contract hasn't been made, so there isn't much to worry about unless he is tagging along with a mortal; odds are if Damian is with a mortal, there is a contract between them.］

▸▸ ［Damian follows the demonic bureaucracy of Hell, and can only be approved of certain powers depending on the contract he makes with mortals. For example, if Damian's contract requires an assassination of someone else, he will be given his demonic strength to defeat them. If he is given a task of protection, he will be provided the means to protect to the terms of the contract. To put in a more broad perspective, the more specific the contract is, the more powerful Damian can become.
If a contract has not been made, Damian only has the power to levitate and float around in a ghostly fashion.］

▸▸ ［Damian was machinated in the bureaucracy of Hell back in the thirteenth century. He was given the task of every other demon that was born, collect the souls of the damned by fulfilling the contracts that demons make with the mortals. Damian claimed many different souls by many different means. He's been hired to murder, capture, deliver; he's even been hired to be a butler in the industrial revolution, but he's gotten out of that phase by the 20th century. However, by the time modernization kicked in, the demons have been adapting to the changing world above. . .but not Damien.
His stubborn behavior to keep to his roots affected his ability to collect souls and soon he had been ordered to return to Hell. He spent his time doing errands for the higher ups, his inability to collect souls made him a demoted demon. His life had become one grind after another all because he refused to adapt.
But when the higher ups caught wind of this story about vampires, they felt it was necessary to bring Damian back into the ring of battle in these new years of modernity. They gave Damian a basic overview of what the world was like, dressed him up as a Gothic man, and threw him into the fray with the sole purpose of collecting souls. ］
