- ☼Full Name | Id & Ego
☼Nicknames | The Objective Observers
☼Gender | Male & Female
☼Age | 19
☼Position | Nomads
☼Species | Human
☼Distinctive features | Id (left) retains his spiky hair and bright brown eyes. Ego (left) has unkempt and wavy hair in the shape of a mohawk. Both characters drape themselves in a traditional Aikidogi used in the dojo they were both trained in.
☼Powers | As an aikidoists, Id and Ego utilize the energy and momentum of their attackers and redirects it on them using a variety of throws and joint locks as well as quick and elegant entering and turning movements. Due to the nature of their martial art, they are unable to cause any physical damage to her opponents, but at the same time, the agility and ability learned in the training to take advantage of their attacks makes the two near immune to taking physical damage themselves.
Id and Ego's element in battle is ironically reliant on how aggressive/emotional and violent an opponent becomes. The more enraged and ferocious their attacks, the more they revert their power to balance out the energy on the battlefield and allows Id or Ego to take control of the situation, making her techniques easier to preform.
Ultimately Id and Ego's style focuses on being as quick and efficient as possible, but that's where their similarities end.
Id carries a tanto, an ancient Japanese dagger, which he uses to either threaten the attacker while immobilized or to end a fight quickly. In Ego's presence, the fight is likely to end nonviolently.
Ego is the essence of neutrality, not causing damage nor receiving damage during combat thanks to her vast training in agility. When combating Ego, you either become fatigued and simply give up or you simply become annoyed.

- ☼Biography | Raised in the High Eastern floating islands, despite the rise of the oceans, humanity was able to retain some of its senses in tradition. On one floating island in particular, desolate from the bulk of society lied a combination of modern steam technology and Japanese tradition and architecture. This island would be known as N'Ueshiba, where those who found this island would be welcome to the study of martial arts. It was a very serene island, away from the conflicts of modernity and the pirates, devoted only to the purpose of the traditions and practices of the distant past.
Id and Ego, despite having no relations, shared a twin-like appearance to one another. However, their personalities and ideals made them sole opposites within the floating dojo. They were the same age and began their training at the exact same time. Most saw them as utter rivals with completely different styles of self-defense, but from the eyes of their wise sensei, Itakashi Sokaku, they actually complimented each other with Id's aggressive style and Ego's passive style.
Despite their rivalry, they were deemed pupils that should work together to their sensei. While Ego agreed with her sensei, Id found it insulting to consider him an equal to such a "Wimpy milk drinker." Altogether, Id was questioning his purpose at N'Ueshiba, feeling as though he has surpassed his sensei. Id had reached his prime in Aikido and had a continuous desire for more power; with reckless abandonment, he fled from the floating island.
Much to his surprise, Ego had decided to tag alongside Id in his quest. Though Id found her presence repulsing, he had realized there was an impasse when Ego mentioned how he wouldn't be able to navigate off the island by himself. Skeptically, Id allowed her to work with him.
The two have been a dynamic duo ever since. Id: The prime example of undaunted ambition and desire that needed to be satiated, violently if need be. Ego: The common sense and rational, reasonable voice of the duo.
Their quest: The search for greater things.
