Back in 08, I deleted all my old journal entries and I really wish I hadn't, because I'd be really entertained if I got to read what I wrote way back then. I was in middle school. Good times. But not really; they were terrible times.
I found myself in a parallel life on sites like Gaia where I was someone completely different, with friends and things to keep me occupied. Things I didn't have in the real world: confidence and friendships which I thought would last forever. I kind of wish I could go back to those days in that sense. I was happy, even if it was just in my parallel Gaia life. Now Gaia and the Internet in general have an astounding way of making me feel lonely.
