All tank owners need bumps. I know some depend on me for that, I was hired to do that for the Beach Brigade in 2010 (though I requested to not be paid months ago since they became friends of mine). I'm subscribed to a few of my favorite tanks, obviously not all my favorites are on there. It's getting harder to bump all the tanks that I want. Some of the tanks on there now should be getting lots more plays, but they aren't because of the "casual" grabber that takes their gold, but leaves no thanks. It annoys me to no end when I see a tank that should've gotten full, but had only 5 players! Seriously?
It takes a minute to finish a game of BG, yet only seconds to bump. If there isn't a thread only Booty Grab etiquette, there should be. Although helpful threads don't get used as it is. It gets annoying seeing people ask where the tank is, how to bump, spamming a glow thread that isn't glowing, etc. I just think it's unfair that out of all the people that grab, only a couple (occasionally a few) people bump. I don't think I've ever seen 34 different people bump. I think it's crazy that there's times I've been the only one bumping and the game gets full! I don't know if it's better or worse when one other person comes in to help or not. A couple people shouldn't be covering for 30+ grabbers!
I'm thinking about having my own glow thread, though it's a huge maybe. I wouldn't include any direct links, only a link to the tank owner's preferred glow thread. That way the glowing tanks are visible, but in order to play it, a bump must come first to get to the thread. (It's either that, or I just collect all the info, keep it in a PM and keep everything private.)
