My Perfect Human
How I crave to see you up close
This window will not do,
The miles of road separating us
So I may never touch you,
You…, you perfect human
I can imagine your face
With the emotions I have yet to see.
Anger, fear, excitement
The list goes on
But what I long to see,
What I wait for in anticipation,
Is to see your face
Mouth agape with laughter, uncontrollable laughter
As my fingers gently, lovingly, trace invisible patterns
Feeling your rapid heartbeat beneath the flawless skin,
Of you…my perfect human
This thirst I have for you
Shall never be quenched,
The flames of passion
Never smothered,
For I am simply in love with you,
You…my perfect human

Now, if you are meaning in this poem that the person is perfect for you like a missing half then the poem makes total sense and I like it myself. 3nodding
