Err.... Hello?
Science. Ignore it i just need a place to type up titration.
I've been sitting here working on this ******** prack for the last hour and a half and all my applications freeze and ******** SHUT DOWN!!!?!?!?!?!!!! Thanks to gaia cards which i wasn't even playing, it was just a frekking open window. Now i have ******** lost it all and i have to do it again. stressed stressed evil

Titrations: Preperation of Standards
Date: 13-3-2006
Name: Kathleen Morwood, Ti Pang

Introduction: The aim of this prac was to prepare primary and secondary standards for the purpose of titration. It was hypothesised that the NaOH would have a concentration of aproximatly 0.1mol. This was suppoered by coalated and averaged results from classmates and internet sources.

Procedure: Part A: Preperation of a Primary Standard
1. A small beaker was placed on the scales. The scales were set at zero and aprox 2g of Na2CO3 was added and its weight had been recorded.
2. A funnel was placed into a volumetric flask and a wash bottle was used to carefully wash the Na2CO3 into the funnel. The beaker was wased 3 times more with distilled water.
3. Distilled water was added to the volumetric flask untill it was aprox 2/3 full. It was then shocken untill all the Na2CO3 had dissolved. A pipette was then used to fill the flask up to the mark.

Part B: Preparing the Secondary Stardard
1. The burette was fulled with unknown HCl and run out untill mark. Record mark.
2. The 20ml pipette was rinsed and the rinsings discarded.
3. The pipette was filled with Na2CO3 and placed into a clean 250ml beaker. Two drops of indicator were added.
4. HCl was run into the beaker whilst swirling continuiously untill the colour had changed. The end point is recorded.
5. The titration was repeated untill three precise results were achieved.

Part C: Preparing the Secondary Standard
1. The burette was fulled with known HCl and run out untill mark. Record mark.
2. The 20ml pipette was rinsed in NaOH and the rinsings discarded.
3. The pipette was filled with NaOH and placed into a clean 250ml beaker. Two drops of indicator were added.
4. HCl was run into the beaker whilst swirling continuiously untill the colour had changed. The end point is recorded.
5. The titration was repeated untill three precise results were achieved.

Results:
Insert table here, anyone have word?

Disscussion: talk about the results including any errors and why they were like that and how to improve. NO HUMAN ERRORS! Discussed what was learned from the experiment with interpretations from the results. Show all calculations.

Conclusion: Final summation of discussion. Restatement of hypothesis and discussion on that topic, what i have learned how do i know i've learned it?

Still need to do pages 24, 86, sheet experiment MI.3, sheet experiment EL2.1, elements of the third period?dont have all results,
