There once was a sun, she was always shining down on the people, making them happy. when her job was done for the day she went to sleep on the mountains, the moon and all the stars would come up, they would talk and gossip and laugh, mostly at the sun and how she had nothing but her golden glow. the sun stayed awake for a while, listening to them taunt and make her feel bad. but she couldent cry, the tears burned her eyes. insted she pretended to be happy. but she couldent figure it out, she had always been so nice to the moon and stars, why where they being so mean? the sun was sad, she couldent stand it anymore. the air grew cold and unwelcoming, the skys clouded with dark bitter clouds and it rained all day long. until it was night when the moon and stars came out. people marvled at the gleaming stars and the glowing moon. couples embraced under the stars. but the sun still sat on the mountains crying. there was no one there to make her feel better, infact, there never was anyone. her mother, earth, ignored her because her sister was always more elaborate then the sun. her father, the sky, never took notice of her, he had to do to much work and never paid any care to make her feel better. the sun was only too alone, to sit in the sky and shine down to make others feel better, to not be cared for or loved...I know what it feels like to be the sun...
