History Of The Grimm Manor:
Once upon a time. . .
The Grimm Manor was first built in the early 1100's. For years it was known to be The Reaper's Home, or The Funeral Home, something along those lines. It's one of the largest manors that still stand in England. It was restored at least seven times throughout the years for reasons; natural disasters, or chemically so.. occurred as well. There are things we cannot explain behind those doors of Grimm Manor, but I shall tell you the tales.
The house was filled with taleneted people of all sorts, but one person only truly owned it and his name was, Count Alexander Grimm. A strange fellow whose path followed with Wicca; Paganism (Wicca) and Necromancing was practice for many years, but never thought it could be taken too far. How, you may ask? People were were going through trails, courts, etc. just to get to the bottom of the mysterious disappearance of many of those that passed through the doors. Some have said the Reaper was amongst them, or the ghosts of many those that have lived there came back to haunt/kill them. No one knew the real reason why these disappearance was occurring.
A death or massacre has occurred behind every door, through every hallway of the Manor. Especially, the ballroom. The ballroom and the dining room of the manor, the two largest rooms in the manor because the Grimm Family held many events. Banquets, balls (A Grimm favorite).. You name it, we did a lot. Until one night, in the ball room where the most activity was, something swept through the room like a plague and everyone dropped dead. It was a blood bath. The floor was flooded, but no one knew what caused it. This death was the biggest one to hit the streets. So the people of England created a mob to go after the Grimm Family.
The Grimm Family fled out of England for a few years and the people burned down the house. There, awoken hell and it's dogs. The manor burned to the ground until the basement was revealed. A dog laid there, an old dog that murdered whoever couldn't get away from it fast enough. It was the guard dog of Grimm Manor. When the dog died, a barrier shot up around the burned down manor to protect it from anymore destruction. It couldn't take much more. Was the house living? No.. Alexander Grimm casted a protection spell to keep it on its last legs so when someone comes back to England.. The Grimm name can be restored as well as the manor, along with everything else that's inside it.
The Grimm family returned in the mid- 1300's and restored everything to its finest. From furniture, to paint, to wood, to metals, stone, everything...
That's as much as I can tell you.. I don't remember much more than that.
What it looks like:
The manor was previously owned by my great (3x) grandfather, Count Alexander Grimm; it is very well furnished, and built to its finest with the money that was put into such a great place like that. Grimm manor has many various of furniture that you would see within a Victorian Mansion, such as this one. This mansion is about four stories tall, covering about a few acres of land in width. A very big mansion, indeed, but it has stuff built on to it that makes it tremendously huge. The furniture is repaired to its finest in woods and finest in best cushions, very lovely pieces of furniture they are. Some of them repeat all over the mansion, but hold different things in or on them. Our eating utensils, pure silver. Our plates (of all sizes) and bowls are finely made china.
There is one, fairly large living room that with-holds a few suits of armors and a couple of large portraits that have scythes, custom made by my family hanging on each side. One large portrait over towards the far corner, towards the door of the study next door is a portrait of a blonde hair-male with a smile of innocence by the name of Count Alexander Grimm (Great x3 Grandfather), and then over towards the sofa and the chairs that sit in front of the black granite fire place, above that is a large portrait of two young-looking couple; a male with blonde hair, wearing white suit was a male by the name of Sebastian Grimm, whom happens to be my father. And then, moving on to the lovely lady beside him wearing white aswell, having auburn, curly hair like my own, that is my mother, Victoria Grimm. I have smaller pictures hanging upon the wall, resting on top of the fireplace as well of myself when I was only a baby, me at a piano, me and my puppy, my dad and I, my mother and I, and then both of my parents, my puppy and I. Those were happy moments that we all shared, but that fell apart quickly. (Read History) Within the living room, over towards the windows that have red curtains is a crystal grand piano that was once my father's, but now sits there in silence. The room was darkly painted of crimson red with dark golden boarders. A couple of bookshelves that had a few crystal balls, books, scrolls, more little photos of the family, and a weapon rack.
The middle hallway that separates the large living room and the large dining room, is white marble all the way up the stairs to the dark upper level of my manor, where all the bedrooms and other bathrooms are. To add on- There's roughly about thirty-two bedrooms and seventeen bathrooms. A few of them are suite bathrooms, like mine. Along the hallway of her upper level of her home is red carpet like the studies, the living room and the bedrooms of her home. Within the bedrooms are very nice furniture to make others and myself at home and very comfortable. I'm a very good hostess when it comes to events, but we'll get around to that in a few minutes.
The dining room is fair large with a very long dining table with many chairs to seat many people in my dining room. I always have company from many places and I serve them with great gratitude and out of the kindness of what's left of my heart. My butler and maid love having company over and planning for events such as banquets because they love to cook and serve great meals. They've been with me since I was a little girl, even though it's been longer than that. They've been in the Grimm family for years, for eternity. I wouldn't want to get rid of them, never.
The studies, there are a few of them (5, to be exact). Each one belonged to someone in the Grimm family. Grandfather Alexander's is left locked for reasons and reasons only, only to protect my family back in the 1600's, but seeing that's passed, I still don't see why I can't open it. My father's study is next to the living room, only because it's the second largest in the manor. The other studies were small for storing books within and such. They're very well furnished and very well organized.
Side Note: We collected, built and repaired weapons so there is a collection of blades of many kinds hanging upon the walls in different areas, such as the hallways that you might wander through when going through my manor. Scythes, swords, maces, you name it.. and I can pretty much guarantee that we have it somewhere in this monster of a home.
I would have to say the one room that takes up the entire back of the manor, expanding the size greatly is the room that we hold our other banquets and other events and that is the ball room. The ball room's floor is completely of black, smooth marble that's easy to dance and glide upon. There's another piano that's in this room, but this one is just a baby, black grand piano to use as entertainment for the others that come to my balls. The walls are a dark red also with dark gold borders. The windows are fairly large with dark red, see-through curtains over them.
