That Man

A sight to see,
Oh,
Yes it is,
The great outdoors is.
The wind,
Blowing through the leaves of a tree,
The leaves crackling,
And the branches moving.
Such a wonderful day to be wasted,
By the sound of a man,
That man with the voice
Who sounds to be someone she was reminded of,
A gentleman he was.
I turned,
Nothing like any other,
Not a human,
Not an alien,
Just a unique being that cares.
Trying to look away,
But I can't.
He draws closer to me
And comments on me;
The feeling getting strong,
As he takes my hand,
And tells me things are going to be okay;
The feeling of comfort
And warmth.
A feeling that I never felt before,
Until now and when he left my side;
That cold air rushing back to me,
Freezing my stone heart once more
Enclosing myself from ever reaching him.
My body falling upon the ground
With my hands over my heart,
Grief fell over me,
As I watched him walk away,
In to the sunset,
And watch that man fade away.
