A poem can be what you want it to be.
You can make it up about your life
And none of it can be true
you can be someone u have never been
You can actually go on those adventures that are life threatening and feel the passion that comes with it
you can take risks that you would normally never take
but when you put the poem down
and you look in a mirror...
you see that none of that really happened
So what is a poem other than a temporary high?
it's a new life
An open door
A window to look through
But never can you actually walk out
Never can you acually leave the roon you are in
The room you are in is small
sometimes dark and wet
but it is your life
Your home
And you hate it
So you pick up a pen and piece of paper
and you begin to write another poem
Then you look in the mirror
And you smile
