Every time I see your face,
The moonlight washes over your skin
And caresses the curves of your cheeks
I find myself wishing I could run my fingers over that soft suple skin.
My lips curl to a gentle smile as I realize,
"This goddess is the holder of my heart."
I know that with but a single word from your lips
I will be by your side before you can draw another silken breath.
I ask myself what makes me so attached,
And I just as easily know the answer.
Because with every beat of your heart,
My own beats as well.
With every breath that slips past those rose petal lips,
My lungs are filled full.
And every time those crystle eyes turn to meet mine,
I realize, I am In love
