The song crept down the girl's spine, dancing to her shivers. She shifted her head trying to find a exit or escape from the dread that seeped into the room. A cracked door appeared before her, and she sprinted to it. As she grabbed the door knob, it felt like touching a piece of the Earth's core. Her hand screamed to let the knob go, but she stayed stark still. Her terror freezing her to the place she stood. All the while, the slow, all-knowing music became that of a funeral tune. It mocked the girl's fear and laughed at her stillness. The music carried on until it filled the room and consumed the girl's final, blood-curdling scream.
