I hear their cries late at night
Hear their sorrows and their fright
While others sleep nice and tight
I hear of what is just not right
They suffer, they die
They starve and they cry
All I can do is sigh
As in their graves they lie
Others tell of their story so sad
But they dont even feel bad
For the children. it makes me mad
These children without a dad
If I could I'd save them all
Famine, Poverty I would stall
Stop the third worlder's fall
So they could walk tall
Us in our beds
Them lying dead
Not getting fed
Seeing only red
If everybody could see
The way that they be
Then maybe just maybe
They could all be freed
