Epsilon, Zeta, Eta, Theta...
My school teaches ridiculous subjects. Greek, for example.
Iota, Kappa, Lambda...
The only thing I find useful about greek is the names of Sorority and Fraternity Houses in college. Do those even exist? Sometimes I feel like it's just the movies.... But then I read lovely Textsfromlastnight.com and some actually have the names of Frats and such.
Mu, Nu, Xi...
I'm pretty sure I'm screwed for Greek, though. I missed the second day of class and since then I haven't been able to figure very much out. I can't even begin to figure out how to pronounce words.
Omnicron, Pi, Rho...
There's not much I can actually do about the class, though. Since I'm not a part time student and the contract for full-time education and payment was signed back in May. No way I can drop out.
Sigma, Tau, Upsilon...
I'm hoping this class turns out to be worthwhile. Today we started with reviewing English grammar, like declensions, and then had an example of a Greek sentence, showing how much more of an inflected (dead) language Greek is. I guess the good thing is that I'm reviewing and remembering basic English grammar.
Phi, Chi, Psi...
I have absolutely NO motivation for this class. I can't think of anything that Greek would be useful in. It's just another dead language under my belt, eh? I still haven't even learned any Latin, besides a greeting that I can't even spell.
I could use some motivation. But hey, I've got the alphabet memorized.
Omega.
