Yessiree peoples; I went to the Naka-Kon anime convention this weekend! mrgreen (For those of you who don't know, it's a newer convention at the University of Kansas college. Which just so happens to be located in the city that I live in.)

I cosplayed as Sango from InuYasha, which just so happened to be my last Halloween costume as well xd . This was my first time showing off my cosplay skills at a convention... I can't wait to find out the results of the cosplay contest! I'm that they don't have a size limit on cosplay props, cuz if they did my Hiraikotsu boomerang would surely have been disqualified. I mean, we're talking about a boomerang that's 6 feet and 3 inches tall, here! And thankfully it's made out of foam board, or else my arm would fall off while carrying around the con for hours xp My friend Devon came to the con as well, and she cosplayed as Kagome. And one of my friend's brothers dressed up as that one commander from FLCL with the eyebrows rofl (I forgot that guy's name.... sweatdrop ) He looked just like him! 3nodding And I got my picture taken about 100 times. (Okay, so maybe it was about 30.) But that's still a lot! I also saw a guy dressed up as Roy Mustang, about 3 Edwards, tons of Naruto characters, and this guy who had an awesome Vash the Stampede costume 3nodding As well as a ton of others that I can't remember right now sweatdrop

They also had two voice actors as guest speakers! First up is Greg Ayres, who does the voices of Satoshi from DNAngel, Chrono from Chrono Crusade, Heimdall from Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok, and many more. Second is Caitlin Glass. Guess which character she does. *hint: take a look at my avatar*. If you guessed Winry Rockbell from Fullmetal Alchemist, YOU ARE CORRECT! mrgreen I got their autographs whee Greg Ayres said he loved my costume ^^ And Caitlin signed my FMA poster!!

They also had a video game room. Brittany and I got hooked on playing Taiko Drum Master or something like that. We played that thing for hours! xd And they also had tons of vendors selling stuff. I got an FMA poster, an InuYasha poster, an FMA pocketwatch (it's so cool!!!), an Edward figurine, a Winry figurine, an Edward iron-on patch, FLCL DVD volume 1, and Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight volume 3.
