my pool in the daytime:

we had a week of heat in the high 90's here and this pool is probably the only thing that made it bearable. xd it really helped to cool off, my only regret was that i didn't buy it earlier in the summer. it's just deep enough that i can sit on the bottom and be submerged up to my chin. the water stayed about 84 degrees - it felt chilly when you first jump in but after you dunked yourself and got over the shock, it became quite tolerable. next year, we'll put it more in the middle of the yard so it'll be in the sun longer. 3nodding
*edit*
also, i discovered the hard way not to push down on the inflatable ring. i was hopping onto my little raft and when i settled in to it, the back half of it pushed the floating ring down and caused a tidal wave of water that washed me and my raft right out of the pool. it was like going over niagara falls in miniature - it still hurt though...

Funnier is our pool, it's got a real "framework" to it, and my mom managed to bend in one side and fall into the about-a-foot of water there was. I imagine it hurt, but it was funny.
