Kelwyn Belgaer--Thinker Talulah_Shivani Belgaer--Thinker I thought a mullet was a bottom dwelling marine warm water fish with two barbels on the chin. I had to look up the hair-style on Google to see what it looks like. gonk
I think it looks much better on Gaia than in real life. Though in real life, hair doesn't constantly flow out behind you, now, does it? You have never been to OKlahoma before, have you?
Today at the Spag House (Spaghetti Wrehouse, the place that I get paid to work at) we had at least 8 people walk in with mullets and that is on a slow night. No, I live in L.A. In the 'suburbs' of L.A., though none of the houses are the same, so I don't think they count as suburbs. The streets always smell like different kinds of flowers, even in winter. It's really, really nice.
I want to go visiting to the other states, but my family isn't very big on travelling... Funny, though, that my first out-of-state trip was to Alaska. We picked mushrooms there and made soups. Yummy!
What's Oklahoma like?
Think of all of the weather you've ever seen in your life, toss it together in the space of a week, and shake firmly. That's Oklahoma. The far western part of the state (the "panhandle" wink is dry and deserty with lots of red clay. The part we live in, to the east, is really green and humid, though right now we're going through a sort of drought. We have a ton of rivers, and because of the dams we have pretty pretty lakes, but there are exactly zero naturally occurring lakes in Oklahoma. We have the largest population of Native Americans out of all of the states. Even some of the whitest people have some native blood in them (like me - part Eastern Cherokee). There's a lot of spiffy things here in Oklahoma, but then again for the everyday, it's mostly boring. Even tornadoes make you yawn. I've seriously gone out on my front porch and watched the tornado go by, then went back inside to watch TV. sweatdrop
