I'm shattered glass of the window pane
You're my breaker
You're my destroyer
My being is broken.

You built me up,
Gave me hope.
You put me up to view the light,
You gave me warmth.
But in the end,
You told me your actions had been mistaken.

I let the sun shine through me,
In hope to help you out of the hole I'd once laid in.
You were my keeper.
I let you take hold of me,
Trusting every word you'd so bravely lied to me.

You took up every aspect of the glass,
But you threw yourself through it.
Your place has been put into different pieces,
It's laid out on the floor.
I hope you see the pain I have,
For I am suffocating.
