Morning started in it's most usual of fashions, with waking up at 6:20, letting dog out to be with parents, and going back to sleep until they were ready to leave, staying awake for about an hour after that and then returning to my slumber. Dog didn't take well to that, which strengthened my conviction to take her for a much longer walk.
Went to go get mail. In my mailbox I found a very large manila envelope, and a slip that rewarded me with yet another manila envelope that also would not fit into the confines of my pocket. My hopes of taking my dog for a longer walk to wear her down were dashed.
Returned home, right arm hurting from the awkward way that I had to carry all of these packages, my iPod, and still maintain a firm enough grasp on my dog's leash to prevent her from eating any random s**t she found on the edge of the road. Was exceptionally displeased with the situation.
Attempted to draw out the first page of Hot Sands after letting the idea float around in my head for so long. Was successful in a scribble that I'm going to call the first panel simply because I no longer care about the first page as really it is filler (it really is).
Watched part of soap opera until signal decided to be choppy. Cursed cable company under my breath but also realized that I was not truly missing anything because if you watch an episode of a soap a month you'll know what's going on in that soap opera.
Was clawed and bitten by dog. Attempted to trim her claws with high tech claw trimming device that uses a file. Became more scratched and received a rather powerful headbutt to my nose. After checking for blood decided that it wasn't broken but also decided that the dog could keep her dagger sharp claws at least for the moment. Not sure how they got the dogs in the commercial to sit still while they used this product.

I miss my old thingy, but this one might work, which is more than the old one could.

If your life had a face I'd punch it in the balls. Seriously.
