- I just noticed something.
Most games feature ads with girls in either skimpy clothing or something "sexy." Now, I know a lot of people judge games on their ads, and I can understand putting in the sex appeal.
But seriously, I'd like to see some guys in skimpy clothing, or something "sexy." And not those gross buff types showing off their mountains of muscles. I mean those guys who border on being androgynous or look innocent but mature. You know? I want some sexy feminine men in ads. Pretty guys.
Girls are good and all, but I think they need to widen their focus to draw in more people.
Or am I just weird that way? ._.
Well, I can see it from your point of view, but ... No. It wouldn't work, whatever you're really thinking about. Girls, even ones wearing minimal clothing, draw in the most crowds. You're guilty of clicking on some of those ads. I know you are. I live in your head. Besides, most people click on the basis of the art, not what the characters are wearing.
Even though Nikolai is an idiot, I agree with him. Mostly anyway. Like, okay, so I like girls. I've said that before. And I like them with nothing on wink so it makes sense to have ads with girls that, you know, don't wear a whole lot. And when they, like, wear something sexy, that's better. Sexy totally tops skimpy any day.
>=( Tii's right, you guys. I think more people would click the ads if the target was larger. Like an arrow. If you try to hit a rabbit with an arrow, you're likely to miss because both are small. Well, unless you've got a really good bow. But then if the game was bigger, like a coyote or a deer or something, then you're more likely to hit. Maybe not to kill, but you'd probably hit it. And guys in skimpy clothing don't have to be appealing. Sexy is another matter. Like Sen. Sen's sexy in whatever he wears, though. Love you Sen!
- redface Love you too, Avaris, but ... Don't, er ... Never mind. We'll talk about it later.
I think both Avaris and Tii Len are right. I mean, a broader target audience would get more players, especially if the system was dynamic or unique enough to keep more people's attention. And even if most of them didn't stay for very long, the whole "buy items with real money to look cooler in-game" is a system that works. So even those players who only stay for a few days might contribute their funds. I don't know if I'm making a whole lot of sense. But yeah, what they're saying makes sense. Even though Avaris has almost no idea what we're talking about and relates everything back to hunting. Love you Ava!
I agree with Tii.
I don't know. I think that what they have works, and that's why it's there. Why change what isn't broken, you know? That's why it's been around for so long. People like that stuff.
- Martha and Theo are both unavailable for comment at this moment. But yeah. My opinion isn't moving on the matter. :< I still want to see more boys.
And fail coding is fail.
